Unfortunately, because Google owns YouTube - now only mere steps away from owning literally everything in the world - I couldn't find an embeddable version of the official video for the song. But this version is amazing, because 1.) Who doesn't love Reba McEntire? 2.) Toward the beginning, Kelly sings: "It wasn't long 'til I called her mine." Wait, what? Is Kelly a big ole closeted lezzie? It would make sense. We can only hope.

omg. she sureeee did!!! Check out my blog for the NOH8 thingie! I think you would be interested. But yeah this song is def one of the best breakup songs. EVER.
ReplyDeletei knew a little 3 year-old girl who used to sing this song in it's entirety. she totally rocked it. i actually really like this song.
ReplyDeleteI love this version!
ReplyDeleteThe whole time I was waiting for her to say "her", and she totally did! Makes you wonder doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteLove the song, by the way.
Hands down, my favorite MTV VMA moment is when Kelly sang Since U Been Gone. With the rain and the rocking out?! What a performance!
ReplyDeleteBehind These Hazel Eyes is right up there as far as singing at the top of your lungs...I almost prefer it because I can never hit the "again and again and again and AGAAAAAAAAIIIIIINNNNNN!" note that Kelly can. The woman has talent!
Ok, I like this song as much as the next person, but the best song to sing aloud in a bar with your girlfriends is, hands down, Alicia Keys' "No one"!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking literally yesterday, about how Kelly Clarkson blows all those other Amer Idol hacks out of the water with her TALENT! Girl has a voice and range like nobody's business. Love it!!
